My wife and I just heard this song used on a new A&E show called "The Cleaner" and it knocked us on our collective ass. I recognized Colins voice immediately but had to run to the computer and validate. For those of you that appreciate songs like this that have such a spiritual impact check out a number from waaayyyy back on Bad Co's first album titled "Seagul", "One Tree Hill" by U2 from The Joshua Tree album and a song I just heard Roger Daltry and Pete Townsend perform last week at UCLA. I didnt catch the name but it is the last piece they sang on the VH1 rock honors for The Who. Peace!

Yes, you must sley the dragon, and open your heart and let the Master in, and accept Him, only then will you know true joy. When you have faith and belief, and love, you have it all my friend, you have it all. Keep on keeping on, and remember the things that are real you can never buy but when you die you take them with you, all the riches of Heaven. God Bless Dude.

i am using this song at my mums funeral 2moro. Its a lovely song, i feel, about waiting for peace and freedom of suffering. Its not death...just waiting for ur real life to begin, forgetting about the past. My mum died due to alcoholism and this song feels like it fits, about her 'slaying the dragon' and forgetting about the past. I love this song and the minute i heard it i knew it was the song i wanted. It brings tears to my eyes.

In case you didn't see it, there is a link to the song above the lyrics... Brian, I didn't realize they did this song on Scrubs. I know that they've featured some of Colin Hays songs on the show, and I heard he guest starred on an episode, but that's really cool that the cast sang a musical version of it. I'll have to check it out, thanks for letting me know!

yea. I agree. Thy lyrics are quite compelling. I gotta hear the actual sound along with it. I would also like to take this time to point out that Peter Monroe can leave a reply, but I cant..... well anyways, keep up the great site!
