And I like/wholeheartedly agree with your philisophy about music. And I have the same problem with reading some reviews, it's like a highly condensed and boring version of a music magazine. They just try to cram way too many band references and such into it, it kinda takes away from the music itself. Yessss glad you like Mark Wilson. My brother was the one who introduced me to his stuff, so I can't really take the credit for that discovery. But I'll be looking forward to your post on him! Haha, yeah he got his harmonia unstuck'd. I think it's important for people to listen to music for themselves, and come to their own conclusions, and it often feels like critics try to push their own opinions down the throats of people who are willing to listen. After reading reviews on sites like Pitchfork, I realize that I only understood maybe 1/10th of what the reviewer said. So instead of bashing bands that I don't like, I only post music that I do like, and the sample mp3's let others make up their own minds. Also, thanks for bringing Mark Wilson to my attention!
